Killinchy CC are opening their CI portal at 20.00 to allow racers to get entered for their second open road race around the Balloo triangle circuit. Last Sunday was round 1 of the spring league in Ormeau park. KCC members Drew & Lyn present a £310 cheque to Newtownards food bank. This money was raised during a ballot at our recent Christmas dinner at Balloo. Hopefully this will be of good use and support to families that aren’t as fortunate during this seasonal time of the year.
Over 30 members attended our annual fry spin to the Cuan . This year we decided to foot the bill as a thank you to members for the support throughout the year. It was Shimna Wheeler’s turn to host the ninth and final round of the league at Donard park in Newcastle on Sunday past. The rain thankfully stayed away for a few days leaving the course very rideable with the riders only having to dismount for the log, plank and step obstacles.
