Maitland and Galway represent Killinchy CC at the Irish CX Nationals

Thursday 7th Jan 2016, saw the first of Peter Disney’s spin classes at Core Fitness Newtownards. KCC have a new Ulster CX Champion.

Sunday was the Ulster CX Champs in Maghera, were once again the Maitland family was in attendance, and they didn’t disappoint. It was the hardest course this year, however Reuben worked very hard during the 5 lap course to finish U10 CX Ulster champion. KCC Dinner & Inaugural Awards

Friday night saw the 4th annual Christmas dinner for the club, and it didn’t disappoint with a record number of 63 attendees. During the evening we held a ballot with prizes kindly donated by – CRC (Neil McG), Powerhouse (Garth), North Down Physio (Julia) and off course the committee.  We were able to raise £315 for the Ards food bank – so a BIG thank you to all those who bought a ticket and the club sponsors/supporters. The weather wasn’t playing ball all week with heavy rain and strong winds, however when Sunday arrived the sun was out and the sky was clear.
