Killinchy CC members and Poachers Pocket staff present a cheque to Lynn of the Children’s Heartbeat Trust tonight. We raised money for two charities this year, the second being Kodis Krew, the family of the late Kodi Brown. The funds were raised from our Annual charity cycle in August (See website for details and event photos).

Ingrid Gallen and Ross Galway present a cheque for £320 to Natalie Porter of Ards Food Bank. The money was raised from a ballot at our recent awards dinner in Balloo house.
Around 50 attended our annual dinner and awards night at Balloo house on Friday past. The craic was good the dinner was the usual Balloo high standard. We would like to thank all the staff for their excellent service, the committee for putting the night together and of course all the local businesses and supporters who donated the ballot prizes. We were able to raise an amazing £320 for Ards Food Bank.

On Sunday past we hosted round 3 of the Ulster Cyclocross league in Delamont Country Park. This was our second go at running a round and after the mud and gutters of last year it was nice to have dry ground albeit not really proper CX conditions!
