Ten Year Anniversary Event

Members and friends joined to celebrate the ten year anniversary of Killinchy Cycling Club. We proudly marked the event with a formal black tie dinner and disco at La Mon Hotel and Country Club on 11 November 2022.  

Ross Galway, founder member, and Ronan Sweeney, Chair of the Club and Club Sponsor (The Poachers Pocket, Lisbane), treated us to speeches before we enjoyed dinner and lots of dancing. Plenty of laughs and craic were shared and word would have it that there were sore heads and feet for some for many days after! 

Over the past ten years, the club has had a very active cycling presence with rides happening most days during the summer months as well as club rides throughout the winter. We pride ourselves on the firm friendships formed whilst keeping fit and healthy, what a club!

Next up on our social calendar will be the club awards and curry night at Balloo House.
