Another K150, another success for the club
On the 21st August our club ran their annual K150 leisure (or some would put it sportive) event in aid of Tiny Life.
Online sign on was the highest yet with 145, however it was going to depend on the weather on the day for the fair weather cyclists to see how many extra would turn up, and the cyclists didn’t disappoint, as we more than doubled with 312 riders in total signing on to participate in the three different routes. We had 12 MC outriders, fully supported CRC mechanical backup, Safety/support vehicle from Regency Cars, that was well used for our photographer Michael R, we had non stop coffee/tea supplies from Johnsons, delicious BBQ supplied by Poachers Pocket, bouncy castle and ice cream, North Down Physio, everything to keep everybody fed, watered and entertained.
The committee would like to pass on our thanks to everyone involved in making this event another success, for helping out in every way from the finer detail behind the scenes, from the small jobs to large jobs, as it all adds up to making what has been commented on in social media sites as another success for the club.
If I have missed anything or anybody I am sorry, but it’s been a long few hard months getting this sorted and we need a break (until the next project/job)
