Killinchy Rockets racing in Bangor!!

On Sunday 26 October 2014 North Down CC hosted Round 4 of the 2014 Ulster Cyclo-cross series at Castle Park in Bangor. The course was mostly set within the trees but with the finish area out on the exposed (very windy) grass hill. Killinchy CC had a good turn out with 6 young rockets taking part! Big kids Scott Maitland in the MTB support race with Ross Galway and Paul Crossen in the Cyclocross B race. All the kids were fantastic in the windy conditions especially young Josh coming 3rd in the under 6s with Alfie, Faye, Amy and Rudi not too far behind. Also well done to Zac who took on the challenge of the bigger under 8 course through the trees. Well done to NDCC for running a great race. Next weeks race is in Moira Park hosted by Dromara CC.
