Week Ending 29/06/14
Even though the weather has been a mixture of good and bad, some have continued to commute to and from work, so well done to those who braved the elements.
KCC had a good presence at the inter-club league again on Tuesday evening with Alan Patterson pipping Paul Crossen to take the win. And also Jill continues to build on her strength on these events, probably so she’ll smoke some men on our own routes (08/07/14 at Balloo, sign on 18.30).
KCC had a photo and small report in the local Newtownards Chronicle on Thursday showing our support to the local primary school that was conducting the cycling proficency for P7’s.
WELL DONE to all those who took part in the Mara Cycle, I think everyone achieved their targets and enjoyed the event, even after some 220 miles covered over two days.
Once again S Millership competed in a Triathlon, showing he is a man of valour and strength to compete in these events.
It’s good to hear Peter is on the mend and was out assisting/watching his friends and team members at the last TT..
Finally for info the committee are having a brief meeting to finalize the remaining objectives and goals for the K150 on Tuesday 01-07-14. This will be our first leisure event and more details will follow.
