September Charity rides
The Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive, in association with Chain Reaction Flagship Store Belfast, offers cyclists a choice of 3 routes through an incredible landscape steeped in myth and legend and is fast becoming the most talked about sportive on the Irish cycling calendar.

Saintfield Events Committee are organising a 40k cycle ride on Sunday 8th September start 09.30hrs . They hope local riders will come along and help raise funds for the childrens Christmas Fair. The annual Marie Curie Cancer Care South Down Bike Ride will take place on Saturday 14th September 2013. This year there will be a choice of a 30km, 50km and 80km routes. Start & finish for ALL routes will be Downpatrick Racecourse. Registration is between 9am-11am. Cost to register is £15.00 and all participants are encouraged to raise sponsorship. To take part in the any of the routes participants must be 16 years and over. 16 – 17 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Ards Cycling Club’s ‘Tour of Strangford’ charity cycle ride (100km / 60m) is on Sunday 15th September 2013.
Sign on at Mill Street Car Park, Newtownards, County Down, BT23 4JG.
Sign on from 09:00hrs. Riders depart from 10:00hrs in groups according to ability.
